Al-Khandaq National Schools are in Madinah - King Fahd District (behind the General Administration of Education in Madinah Region).

National Section: 1- According to the attached tables, the study plan issued by the Ministry of Education shall be applied by teaching all approved curricula and courses for all academic levels (primary - intermediate - secondary). 2- Increasing additional classes for some basic subjects, such as Arabic language classes for primary grades and English language classes for all stages and grades. 3—Enrichment and proficiency classes to enable students with mathematics, science, and reading skills to pass the aptitude and achievement tests. International Section: 1- Following the Cambridge International Curriculum in the subjects of English Language - Mathematics - Science. 2- Teaching the subjects of national identity: Islamic studies - Arabic language - social studies. 3- Including subjects: physical education - arts - computer and technical skills.

1- A model educational complex with complete facilities and equipment contains: (130) classrooms + (10) science labs + (7) computer labs + semi-olympic swimming pool (25 m × 13 m × 1.75 m) + theater that can accommodate more than (1000) people + (8) shaded football fields + (6) basketball towers + (8) large multi-purpose halls + (5) learning resource centers + (5) studios. 2- A unique house for prizes and gifts presented to students at school ceremonies to honor outstanding students. 3- Scholarships, up to more than (100%) for some students and the total grants provided annually reach one million Saudi riyals. 4- Classes for the gifted from the second grade of primary school to the third secondary and our schools contribute more than half of the gifted students in Medina. 5- A diverse school and student activity: Scientific, cultural, literary, and social, with a unique theatrical activity (Al-Khanaq Team for Purposeful Art). 6- Various training and enrichment programs: training on qualification to pass the general aptitude test and achievement - programs for Talented students - programs to develop skills and student ability for students. 7—Pays attention to health guidance for students, promote healthy habits and nutrition and combats obesity and unhealthy eating habits. 8- Free remedial classes for students every Saturday of each week. 9- Free workshops for memorizing the Holy Quran before the start of the school day. 10- Focusing on the primary grades, especially in the first grade of primary school, in regards to student's ability to read and write by the end of the first semester.

Academic aspect: Regular formative assessments and summative assessments + achievement tests conducted by schools in each semester for all grades. Behavioral aspect: through monitoring from the school administration and the student mentor in regard to the student's behavior and discipline. Through student guidance programs and student activities. Skill aspect: through training programs, school events, student activity, trips, and official visits.
